The project consists of a 45 apartment complex, located in a long striped sitenear the city of Playa del Carmen, in front of the caribbean ocean.
The main concept of the project was to make small private jungles for each of the 45 apartments, bringing to each one a sense of calm, introversion and direct contact with the surrounding nature.
The apartments are grouped in 7 separate buildings so that the construction process could be done in different phases. The first six buildings include 7 apartments (122 sq m each one), parking space, staircase and elevator. The last building includes 3 penthouses (241 sq m each one), with direct views to the ocean and amenities on the ground floor.
At the end of the site and close to the beach, is the pool area that includes a wooden deck and wide wooden dock over the ocean, that gives a sense of enclosure and privacy.
All the apartments have opening panels on the facade to control the sunlight and the privacy of its inhabitants, and each floor of each building is painted in a different sharp color, resembling the color combinations used by the local people to paint their fishing boats.
